our stay at wayside bed and breakfast was just delightful. the room was spacious and comfy, making it easy to relax. breakfast was nicely stocked with tasty options, allowing us to enjoy leisurely mornings. the location is super convenient, just a short ride from the centre of norwich city, which we loved. moira’s hospitality made our experience even more special.
the decor could use some updating.

The rooms felt cramped, especially for longer stays, and the furnishings were mismatched and dated—a real eyesore for those who appreciate aesthetics. Cleanliness could be improved, with noticeable dust and dirt in corners, and bathrooms in need of significant updates, from cracked tiles to outdated fixtures. The communal area looked shabby and was poorly maintained compared to photos, and the absence of a fully cooked breakfast option was definitely disappointing. the faint echoes of neighboring noises could be rather distracting at night, which could ruin a peaceful evening.

The scenic views from my room were truly breathtaking. The self-contained setup for breakfast was convenient, with a great selection of items like ham, cheese, and fresh fruit. I appreciated having the microwave and fridge available, making it easy to enjoy breakfast at my own leisure. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, making me feel at home from the start. The powerful shower in the clean bathroom was a nice bonus. the room's decor felt outdated, and some furnishings seemed mismatched. the communal area lacked maintenance. rather shabby for the price I paid. Noise from the nearby pub was noticeable in the evening, which could disrupt those looking for a peaceful stay.

Cozy escape with super hosts
We had an amazing stay! The hosts made us feel like family, and the room was super comfy. Got a fab breakfast in our fridge, which was a nice touch. Loved chilling on the patio, but the shower could've been a bit roomier. a lovely lil getaway!

I really enjoyed my stay, especially with the freebies like tea and coffee in the room and the cozy seating area where I could unwind. There were some lovely spots to relax outside and a peaceful corner in the lounge that I loved. Just a heads up, the bathroom could use a little touch-up, but it didn’t ruin my experience! 😊
